Train from Victoria Station to Eastbourne, Polegate or Seaford approximately one hour and 40 minutes, or Gatwick airport approximately 45 minutes. 

There is a taxi service at Eastbourne or Polegate  Train Station. and Seaford Train Station, car hire can be organised with prior notice, which will take you to East Dean Village approximately 5 miles west over the South Downs out of Eastbourne.
Hill Side is a modern detached 3 bed house located in the downland village of East Dean which is situated 5 miles west of Eastbourne and approximately 5 miles to Seaford Town.  Ideal location for a family seeking spacious living close to beach and golf club.
Hill Side is a spacious detached house with 3 bedrooms.  The  location is in a  quiet lane situated in the pretty village of East Dean.  The property is ideal for a family and has off street parking, and gardens at the rear,  ideal for alfresco dining.  Lovely views over the south downs.  From the property a walk down the road to the local shop and across  to the famous Tiger Pub for great food, or if you prefer the Thai Terre for classic Thai cuisine. 
There is a tea rooms for snacks.  If you like walking then the south downs pathways  are all around and just up the hill is Friston Forest and Crowlink.   The nearest beach is located at Birling Gap and here you can see the famous light house and explore Beachy head.  A walk or drive down the hill to Eastbourne, or the other way the small town of Seaford where there is plenty to do and see, great restaurants, and promenade walks.
Hillside is nestled into the local landscape so there are a number of steps leading up to the property.  There is a parking bay at the bottom, and there is also a driveway up to the garage. Enter into the  hall and from here step into the spacious  kitchen which is fitted with a range of cupboards, fitted electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher  There is a small table and chairs. 
Door from the kitchen leads into the garage where  the washing machine and tumble dryer is located.  There is a cloaks room on the ground floor and the living room is L shaped with dining area with table and chairs.  Door leads out to the patio area of the garden, and steps up to garden . The living room has T.V. and DVD player, and seating for six people. Up stairs there is a double and single bedroom and bathroom with full size bath, toilet and hand wash basin.  The master double bedroom  which can be made into a twin is spacious with en-suite shower room.
The path leads through gardens  to the front of the property.  At the bottom is the bay for parking, and driveway  leading up to the garage.  At the back of the property there are extensive gardens, and a patio area.
Welcome pack provided.  Linen and towels are included.  There is a £200 returnable house deposit charged.  The owner can provide a put up bed for a sixth person.  Please inquire about cost.
We accept credit/debit card transactions, postal cheques or bank transfers.  On booking the property we require £300 deposit and six weeks prior to arrival the balance is payable.  No pets and non smokers please.
